Awards and Neurological Grand Rounds
All submitted abstracts, except those submitted specifically for the Neurological Grand Rounds, will be considered for one of the following awards.

- ANZAN James Lance Young Investigator Award
- Neurological Grand Rounds
- Leonard Cox Award
If you are submitting for the Leonard Cox Award, please do NOT submit on-line. Please forward your application direct to the ANZAN Executive Officer. The Leonard Cox Award is open to members of the ANZAN who received their full membership during or after 2000.
ANZAN James McLeod Advanced Trainee Award
The ANZAN James McLeod Advanced Trainee Award is for work conducted during a clinical year of advanced training, and presented at the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting. We would like to have as many submissions as possible, ensuring that all submissions are from financial members of the ANZAN. The Scientific Programme Committee will select the recipient from abstracts accepted for poster presentations at the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting.
To be eligible the presenter must:
Have performed the work during either two core training years or one clinical year; Be a current financial affiliate in training or recently elected full member of ANZAN; Be the first author on the paper; Provide substantiation of eligibility for the award from the head of department at the institution in which the presenter conducted the work.
ANZAN James Lance Young Investigator Award
The ANZAN James Lance Young Investigator Award is for work performed during the pursuance of a higher degree in the neurosciences, and presented at the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting. We would like to have as many submissions as possible, ensuring that all submissions are from financial members of ANZAN. The Scientific Programme Committee will select the recipient from abstracts for poster presentations at the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting.
To be eligible the investigator must:

Neurological Grand Rounds
We invite submissions of interesting cases for presentation in the Neurological Grand Rounds. Please submit a one-page description of your case, providing sufficient information for the chairs and Scientific Programme Committee to select the cases that would provide the best education and discussion at the 2008 Annual Scientific Meeting.

Leonard Cox Award
The Leonard Cox Award is open to members to ANZAN who have received their Full membership during or after 2000 and have produced a body of scientific work within receiving their Full membership. It is designed to recognise investigators who have contributed significantly to Neuroscience Research during early post FRACP years. The application is by submission of a curriculum vitae and a two-page description of the nature of their work, the scientific significance and the likely contribution to the field of neurology. The successful applicant will be invited to present the work as a half hour lecture at the meeting.
